In November 2024, Mind in Croydon and the Croydon Health and Wellbeing Space teams were invited to the Local Mind Excellence Awards in Birmingham.
The service has been highly commended by Mind in two areas:

- and Equality and Diversity.

“Mind in Croydon has developed a reputation for delivering effective support that is tailored to their local community. This currently includes peer support in psychiatric hospitals to support people’s journey of recovery, independent advocacy services, carers support services, therapeutic services, Active Minds, and welfare benefits help.
The Croydon Health and Wellbeing Space has been developed as a holistic support service which is run jointly between Mind in Croydon and the Croydon BME Forum. Based in a local shopping centre it provides access to a range of support including welfare benefits advice, housing advice, access to healthcare, domestic violence support and access to a clinical psychology team.”
